Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is expecting Manchester United to be a typically tough test for the derby flavour.
Pep’s Citizens host their bitter rivals on Sunday in the ever tension heavy Manchester Derby, and as the top two teams on England's league table.
City lead at the top with an extraordinary 14 points, and Pep duly has his mind on making it 17 points.
“I know how difficult United are. I have the feeling they are a better team every season. They haven't lost away for more than one year,” Pep told his club’s media.
“They always get good results here at Etihad Stadium, but we know the opportunity we have to extend our advantage.
“The Premier League is 38 games, this is one of them. Obviously, they are now real contenders, second in the table.
The January Premier League Manager of Month ended the chat to confirm a full clean bill of health.
“Everyone is fit. It is important for us and hopefully at the international break everyone comes back really well.”
“Everyone knows how important it is. We will try and win the game,” the Spaniard concluded.
