Brighton and Hove Albion goalkeeper Roberto Sanchez has refuted claims that he is thinking of an England call-up after being called up to the Spain national team.
The 25-year-old is part of the Luis Enrique team for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Greece, Georgia and Kosovo and while he is eligible to play for England, the keeper said that his focus was with the La Roja.
"There were rumors about the England squad. I prefer to concentrate on Spain. I don't want to say much about it. At the moment I have only got a Spanish passport although, working in England for more than five years, I can get one here as well," the keeper told Radio Marca in Spain via Tribal football.
