Wolves ready to sell Adama Traore in the summer

Wolverhampton Wanderers will put winger Adama Traore on the market in the coming summer.

Traore has been one of the best performers for Wolves since their promotion to the Premier League and while he has regressed this season, there is still a belief that he can give sterling performances if he has a change of environment.

Journalist Duncan Castles now claims that Wolves will make the player who they value at €40m available in the summer as they look to cash in on some of their most valuable assets in order to revitalize the squad by making new signings.

Apart from Traore, the team is willing to let go of Pedro Neto and Ruben Neves who have all been linked with a move to some of the established clubs in the Premier League.

Speaking on the Transfer Window Podcast, Castles said: “I’m hearing it’s not just Pedro Neto who is being made available for sale, it’s also Ruben Neves and Adama Traore.

“Essentially the three most sellable and valuable talents in Wolves’ squad at present, excluding Raul Jimenez. Adama is 25, he is contracted until 2023. They want to sell at least one of those for a substantial fee, perhaps more than one, and then reinvest and freshen up the squad.”

Traore has strongly been linked with a move to Liverpool with Neto said to be a target for Manchester United.
