Amazon is set to release a new documentary on Manchester United and French midfielder Paul Pogba.
Pogba has always been on the headlines on and off the pitch with Amazon now ready to reveal to his fans about the picture into the superstar’s life.
According to the Evening Standard, the United star has signed an agreement with Amazon to produce a documentary named ‘The Pogmentary’, which is set to offer a unique and intimate look at Pogba’s life.
The documentary is set for release on Amazon Prime in the United Kingdom next year with the focus being on the key moments in the player’s career. It looks set to include moments such as his departure and return to United, and also the role he played in France’s 2018 World Cup triumph.
Amazon has also promised to provide an insight into the 28-year-old’s life off the field. This will include interviews with family and friends, as well as previously unreleased footage from his childhood.
Georgia Brown, Head of European Originals, Amazon Studios said: “We all know Paul for what he can do on a football pitch, but his influence reaches much further, and he is, without doubt, an icon for an entire generation. Through the unprecedented access afforded to us, Prime Video will show the man behind the fame, delving into his life off the pitch and letting him tell his story in his own words.”
Pogba is entering the final year of his contract at United and the release of the documentary might coincide with his decision whether to stay or leave the club.
