Brazilian right-back Dani Alvez has revealed why he only spent one season with Serie A giants Juventus.
In a Q&A session on Instagram as relayed by Mundo Deportivo, the 37-year-old was asked why he did not last at Juve with the player revealing that it wasn’t his decision to leave after the 2016-17 season as the club informed him that they would be heading in a different direction when it came to their philosophy.
“They told me they would change the way they play and it was not true!” Alves said.
After his stint at Juve, Alvez moved to Paris Saint-Germain, where he’d spent two seasons with the French giants before heading back home to Brazil, where he’d sign with São Paulo.
