Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has singled out Man City and Bayern Munich as the best two teams in Europe.
Pep Guardiola's City have enjoyed a near-perfect campaign, and are still in the hunt for a possible quadruple.
They lead the Premier League table by 11 points and are in the semi-finals of the FA Cup and the Champions League.
They are also in the finals of the League Cup, where they will face Jose Mourinho's Tottenham Hotspur.
Bayern Munich, on the other hand, are on course to lifting yet another Bundesliga title, and despite bowing out of the Champions League, Tuchel feels they are one of the very best.
"In Europe, for me there are two teams that are the benchmark: Manchester City and Bayern Munich," said Tuchel ahead of Saturday's FA Cup clash against Man City.
"We have to accept there is a gap between us and Manchester City. If you look at the fixtures in the last few years we have to accept it, but without making us feel too small,"
"From day one of next season, we will hunt them and try to close the gap,"
Tuchel will be hoping to beat a Pep Guardiola-led team for the first time in five attempts when they clash at Wembley on Saturday.
