Liverpool to reap more from Brewster's Sheffield United move

English Premier League giants Liverpool are set to reap big from the sale of Rhian Brewster to Sheffield United.

It had been reported that Brewster cost Sheffield a sum of £25million last summer but according to Liverpool Echo via Daily Star, the Reds could reap more from the player despite their relegation to the English Championship.

The report states that Reds transfer chief Michael Edwards inserted a buy-back clause in the deal which means Liverpool could ensure any bid of their own is accepted if the player is targeted by any club in the future.

The English youngster who is yet to score for Sheffield in 25 games has a 15 percent sell-on clause inserted in the deal by Liverpool.

Brewster had spent the second half of last season on loan at Championship side Swansea City. His goals helped propel them to the play-offs, where they were beaten in the semi-finals by Brentford.

During his time there, however, he scored ten times in 19 league appearances and earned attention from around the Premier League.
