Ben White sees red as stubborn Brighton hold Chelsea to a barren draw

Chelsea were forced to shared spoils by Brighton as the two teams settled for a 0-0 draw on Tuesday evening in the Premier League.

The game started on a low state as the two teams could not create real clear-cut chances in the first fifteen minutes.

Chelsea started settling in the game and White got a touch to the ball inside his own box but if ell kindly for Havertz. His strike went goalwards but Sanchez was alert and made no mistake, blocking the shot.

Brighton attacked from a freekick, the ball dropped for Trossard, who got a shot away from the edge of the penalty area. The strike curled towards goal Arrizabalaga is in a position to make a comfortable save.

In the final ten minutes, Brighton were controlling the game, attack after attack. Jorginho was caught in possession and it allowed Welbeck to get a shot away from 20 yards.

He looked to bend the ball into the far corner with his right foot and Arrizabalaga was left stranded and he could only watch on as the ball smacked against the upright.

Lallana produced a beautiful turn on the edge of the penalty area before getting a low shot in on goal. However, Arrizabalaga read the strike well and made a smart save.

Red card

The visitors were caught up in the pitch as Hudson-Odoi looked to the counter. He was up against White, who brought him down and that's a second yellow card.
