Leicester City smash three past West Brom to pull four points ahead of Chelsea

Leicester City opened a four-point gap above fourth-placed Chelsea with a 3-0 victory over West Brom on Thursday evening.  

Jamie Vardy opened the scoring for Leicester before Jonny Evans added the second in the 36th minute. Ten minutes later,  Kelechi Iheanacho netted a third of the night. 

Jamie Vardy handed Leicester after 23 minutes with a clinical finish. Tielemans picked Castagen with a beautiful pass. Castagne made a wonderful forward run, squared the ball for Vardy and it was in the bet.

Three minutes later, the Foxes doubled their lead, through Jonny Evans. A beautiful corner was whipped by Tielemans with Evans netting into the top of the net.

In the second half, Leicester made it 3-0 through Kelechi Kelechi Iheanacho. Thomas fed Vardy down the left-wing, and he easily beat O'Shea. He then slotted Iheanacho in, who was waiting in the middle, and despite the defenders closing in, the striker lifted the ball over them and into the back of the net. 

Leicester City are now third on the log with 49 points, four above fifth-placed Chelsea.
