Laliga giants FC Barcelona are interested in the services of Chelsea FC midfielder Jorginho and would like to have him this summer.
Spanish outlet Sport reports that the Italian is admired by Barca boss Ronald Koeman who might offer Miralem Pjanic to sweeten any deal struck with the London club.
The Italian international has enjoyed a change of fortune since Thomas Tuchel replaced Frank Lampard in the Chelsea dugout in January, reclaiming his place in the heart of the Blues midfield with the cub currently on the verge of winning the FA Cup and the Champions League.
Pjanic has fallen out of favor with Koeman with the Bosnian playmaker restricted to just six La Liga starts this campaign, despite a £54 million move from Juventus last summer.
With Chelsea feeling that Jorginho is one of their most important players, there are reports that the Blues are on the verge of starting contract renewal talks with the player with Tuchel confident that they can challenge for the Premier League title if they are to keep some of their established players.
Barcelona on the other hand doesn’t have enough money to buy the contract of the player and would only be interested in a swap deal something that might prove difficult this summer.
