'He spent half the night crying', Keane aims a dig at Fernandes after Liverpool defeat

Manchester United legend Roy Keane criticized Bruno Fernandes for his play-acting during his side's 4-2 defeat to loss.

Fernandes scored the opening goal for United just after ten minutes but Liverpool came from behind to win 4-2 thanks to goals from Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino, and Mohamed Salah.

Keane was far from being impressed by Bruno's involvement in the game saying the midfielder spent the majority of his time during the game 'rolling around' the ground'.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Keane said, "I’ll be critical of Fernandes, he spent half the night crying on the side of the pitch. Every time he got tackled he was rolling around."

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wasn't impressed with how his team conceded soft goals to hand Jurgen Klopp his first win ever at Old Trafford.

"When you play against good players and good teams you can’t give easy goals away, especially goals in the periods we did," said Solskjaer.

"We had a good start to the game and we didn’t grab that momentum, we should have done more and just before half-time to concede from a set-play is disappointing."

"When you start the second half with a goal after 70 or 80 seconds it’s going to be hard. We let them off the hook. It is part of learning for this team."

"We should have capitalized when they struggled. We want to win every game we play. We were ready to fight for each other and we did but we made too many uncharacteristic errors."

Red Devils' final two games in the Premier League will be against Fulham and Wolverhampton.
