Midfielder Bruno Fernandes has been named as the Manchester United player of the year the club has revealed.
It is the second successive season the Portuguese is winning the award; the player getting the award lasts season despite only joining in January 2020.
The former Sporting Lisbon captain has bagged 18 goals in 36 Premier League starts this campaign and claiming nine goals in Europe (Champions League and Europa League). He has contributed 11 assists in the Premier League and a further five in Europe.
The player beat Frank Lampard's goal record for a midfielder in the Premier League era with his latest strike against Liverpool. In the season, he won the Premier League Player of the Month in November and December and was also nominated in October and February. Furthermore, he has been voted Man of the Match on 12 occasions with Edinson Cavani the next-best on five.
Left-back Luke Shaw became second in the awards after collecting 21% of the total votes cast with Cavani coming third with 6% of the total votes.
