Belgium is sweating over midfielder Kevin de Bruyne after the playmaker picked an injury during their UEFA Champions League final against Chelsea on Saturday night.
De Bruyne departed the pitch in tears after suffering a concerning injury after the Man City vice-captain was clattered into by Antonio Rudiger in the 56th minute, with the Chelsea defender shown a yellow card for his challenge.
Reports claim that the player had a suspected head or neck injury after not being able to get up his feet after treatment to the challenge.
The Belgian midfielder was then helped to the touchline by physios and made straight for the tunnel with tears streaming down his face with Belgium hoping that it wasn’t anything serious as he is one of their most dependable players heading into the summer tournament.
