Burnley defender James Tarkowski is attracting interest from Premier League rivals Leicester City and might make a move in the summer.
Tarkowski has been one of the outstanding players for the Season Dyche side over the past seasons and according to Lancs Live, the Turf Moor outfit is anticipating renewed interest in their center-back after another impressive campaign.
It is not the first time that the English defender is being linked with a move to the King Power Stadium after the Brendan Rodgers side tabled a bid for the player last summer, along with West Ham United, but both offers were rejected after failing to match Burnley’s £50m asking price.
After missing the top four spot on the last day of the season, Leicester has a feeling that they need a new defender with Jonny Evans, Wesley Fofana, and Caglar Soyuncu all spending significant periods on the sidelines.
The departure of club captain Wes Morgan means that Leicester will be in the market to look for a replacement with 26-year-old Tarkowski, who is an England international, the player they think will fill the void left by their captain.
