Tottenham Hotspur is planning to hike Harry Kane's transfer fee in a bid to keep him away from suitors.
Kane has expressed his desire to leave the club in the summer with Manchester City being the favorite to land his signature but according to o Eurosport via Caught Offside Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is ready to demand £150M in exchange for Kane.
With the striker almost turning 28, it is a move that might scare away potential suitors like Man City who is one of the teams interested in young Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.
Kane is aware of such a move and last month admitted that he would sit Levy down so that they could have an honest talk about his position at the club but going by the previous deals done by Levy, it is clear that the England captain won't be leaving the club on a cheap transfer.
The reports indicate that despite Kane being a top target for Manchester City, they are now considering alternatives as they dive into the market to replace Sergio Aguero who has since left for Barcelona.
