💶 Euro 2020: Friday & Saturday's best bets all in one place

Euro 2020 is heating up nicely and we'll be picking our best bets throughout the tournament on a daily basis.

Let's get right into it, with six matches scheduled for Friday and Saturday. You can place bets on betPawa using our booking code 7BA3279 which will auto-fill your slip with these six picks:

🧠 Recommended bets

  • ✅ Under 2.5 goals in Sweden vs Slovakia
  • ✅ Both teams to score in Croatia vs the Czech Republic
  • ✅ England to beat Scotland & over 2.5 goals
  • ✅ France to beat Hungary to nil
  • ✅ Portugal and Germany to be level at the HT break
  • ✅ Spain to beat Poland

🏟 Sweden vs Slovakia

Strong at the back, the Swedes have conceded just once in 2021 (W5, D1) and they can move within one game of Andersson’s longest unbeaten streak in his five years in charge should they avoid defeat here. A tight game is on the cards given that each of Sweden’s last five European Championship group games produced under 2.5 goals (W1, D2, L2).

🏟 Croatia vs the Czech Republic

The Czechs snapped a four-match H2H winless run against Scotland (D1, L3) by beating them on Monday, their seventh consecutive game to witness scoring after the 50th minute. They will feel positive about getting a good result against Croatia and, incredibly, each of the Czech Republic's last three matches produced a goal in the 42nd minute.

🏟 England vs Scotland

England takes on traditional rivals Scotland at Wembley. Coincidentally, their only other previous meeting at a major tournament was in the group stages of Euro 1996, also at Wembley. England won that game 2-0, and have scored 2+ goals in five of the six meetings since (W4, D1, L1). Scotland's 0-2 defeat to the Czech Republic saw a five-match scoring streak come to an end. None of the last 32 meetings between these sides at Wembley has ended goalless.

🏟 Hungary vs France

Hungary will need all the support they can get from fans at Budapest’s Puskás Aréna after suffering a European Championship opening day defeat for the first time in their history, losing 3-0 to Portugal after a late trio of goals by the defending European champions. World champions France have won five consecutive matches without conceding, so the prospect of a positive result for the Hungarians looks bleak.

🏟 Portugal vs Germany

Cristiano Ronaldo inspired Portugal to a 3-0 win over Hungary on matchday one, in what was their best ever-win in an opening game of a European Championship. Avoiding defeat against Germany would likely book their place in the last 16, and the omens are good given that they're unbeaten in their last 12 matches (W5 D7) in this competition. Six of Portugal’s last eight goals came in the 80th minute or later so late drama could be on the cards.

🏟 Spain vs Poland

Spain returns to the Estadio Olímpico de Sevilla after a goalless Euro 2020 opener vs Sweden, which saw them claim 85.1% of the possession. La Roja is unbeaten in 14 internationals on home soil though, scoring 2.93 goals per game and keeping 11 clean sheets in that sequence. Poland's shock defeat to Slovakia means that they have won just two of their 12 matches at the European Championships (W2, D6, L4), failing to score more than once in any of those historical outings.
