English Premier League giants Liverpool are about to make a surprise move for Wolves winger Adama Traore.
The Reds were heavily linked with the Spain international last summer, but they ended up signing his teammate Diogo Jota from the Midlands outfit and according to Football Insider, the Reds will be back for the player this summer.
Jota was injured for part of the campaign, but still proved a quality purchase for the Reds, registering 13 goals from 30 appearances in all competitions.
While Traore might not go straight to the Reds starting team, Jurgen Klopp wants him as a backup to his forwards as they are set to sell a chunk of players this summer to create a space for the Spaniard.
Despite his talents, Traore had a torrid outing last season where he managed just five-goal contributions in the league.
There have been reports that Liverpool might lose the duo of Xherdan Shaqiri and Divock Origi this summer with Traore set to fill that void as he is able to play anywhere in attack.
The €30million-rated star would be a handy backup for Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane. He could fill the void when they travel for African Cup of Nations duty next year.
