Roma confirm their first signing under Mourinho

Roma have completed the first signing of the José Mourinho era.

Rui Patricio, Portuguese international & Wolves' first-choice keeper, is set to join the Giallorossi on a permanent basis after the clubs agreed to terms late this afternoon.

The news was confirmed by both Roma and a high-ranking official at Gestifute, the agency that represents the goalkeeper's interests.

The 33-year-old will arrive in the Italian capital tomorrow to undergo medical tests before signing a three-year contract.

Roma will pay €11 million plus bonuses for the former Sporting goalkeeper, who will arrive at Ciampino Airport on a private jet tomorrow to complete his move to Italy.
