The London City Metropolitan Police have arrested 86 people following a disaster at Wembley stadium after England's 2020 Euro final loss to Italy.
England lost on penalties after the match ended 1-1 after extra time. The Azzurri got crowned as champions thanks to spot-kick misses from Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka.
But the result led to chaos. According to Sky Sports, suspects were taken into custody for various charges ranging from assault, drunkenness, and public order offences.
"The Metropolitan Police have made 86 arrests in connection with the policing operation for the Euro 2020 final after disorder in London on Sunday," Sky reported.

"As many as 53 of these arrests were made at Wembley, where England lost to Italy in a penalty shootout, police said on Monday.
"People were arrested for a range of offences including assault, drunkenness and public order offences.
"Nineteen police officers were injured, including one who lost a tooth in the disorder, while another suffered a broken hand," the outlet added.
Meanwhile, UEFA is yet to make any statements on the reports, but will be expected to take action if Italian fans got victimised in the violence.
