Red Devils manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is assured Paul Pogba will stay put at Old Trafford next season.
Like the same movie that has been repeated during every transfer window, Pogba’s future at the club has been a subject of speculation. The flamboyant Frenchman has previously been linked with FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and his former side Juventus, Pogba has become linked with Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain.
As a result, one of the obvious questions that was directed at Solskjaer during a post match press conference this weekend was the PSG rumour.
"Talks are ongoing between Paul’s representative and the club representatives all the dialogue I’ve had with Paul is that he’s looking forward to the season," Solskjaer said after United's 4-2 defeat to Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, quoted by the Manchester Evening News (MEN).
For now, Ole is preparing his side for its third preseason friendly against Brentford on Wednesday.
