Manchester United defender Alex Telles is set to miss the start of the season with an ankle injury.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed Telles will miss the whole of August with an ankle injury and is expected to return in the month of September. The Brazilain picked up the injury pre-season training last week and Solskjaer had initially said the left-back would be "out for a few weeks".
However, Solskjaer says Telles is likely to miss the first three games of his side's Premier League campaign against Leeds, Southampton, and Wolves.
"Unfortunately, it's worse news on Alex Telles than we hoped for," he told the club's official website.
"His ankle injury is a little bit more severe than we hoped and he'll be out for a little spell at least, the whole of August I would think."
Telles joined the Red Devils last summer from FC Porto for a reported fee of £15.4m.
