TIP: Man United to Win
- Wolves have lost their last five Premier League games, scoring just one goal in the process.
- Manchester United have won four of their last six Premier League away games.
- Mason Greenwood has scored eight goals in his last ten Premier League appearances.
Wolves got their first win under Bruno Lage in midweek, but a win over Nottingham Forest in the EFL Cup isn't going to be enough to silence the naysayers who have witnessed the new manager lead Wolves to straight 1-0 Premier League defeats.
To be fair, they were unlucky not to get anything out of both games against Leicester and Tottenham, but their lack of cutting edge upfront is visible, and that will be a concern as they attempt to stop a five-match Premier League losing streak on Sunday.
The Reds, the away-day specialists
Last Saturday, Manchester United equaled Arsenal's Premier League record of straight unbeaten away games, but the 1-1 draw at Southampton was a miserable afternoon for United supporters. They had a few chances in the first half but failed to take advantage of them, and they were punished for it.
The club's confidence will be boosted by Cristiano Ronaldo's surprise arrival, and they should be able to take advantage of Wolves' poor run, especially after winning four of their past six away games in the Premier League.
Wolves predicted lineup: Sa; Kilman, Coady, Saiss; Hoever, Neves, Moutinho, Marcal; Trincao, Traore, Jimenez
Man United predicted lineup: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Maguire, Shaw; Fred, Matic; Sancho, Fernandes, Pogba; Greenwood
