Manchester City star has said 'fights happen' in football after he was ripped into by his manager Pep Guardiola during Wednesday's 6-3 win over RB Leipzig in the UEFA Champions League.
With Manchester City leading 2-1 in the second half, Guardiola was captured calling over Grealish to exchange what seemed to be a fury of words.
The player has since revealed that his manager was unhappy with a defensive plan that was instructed to the winger.
"That was just defensive work, I won't go too much into it because he might want the same tactics at the weekend," he said, according to Daily Mirror.
"That's what the manager is like, he's always wanting more defensively and offensively, and he's obviously someone that I'm going to listen to after everything he's done in the game.
"He's just giving out useful information," the former Aston Villa attacker concluded.
Up next for the English Premier League champions is the visit of Southampton to the Etihad this weekend.
