Liverpool midfielder Fabinho has revealed he expects to be unavailable for the weekend's clash against Watford alongside goalkeeper Alisson.
The Brazilians Alisson and Fabinho have over just 24 hours to fly back to England and prepare themselves for Saturday's game with Watford. Speaking to the Athletic, Fabinho has confirmed it will be impossible for the pair to be available for selection.
"I believe that this first match against Watford will be very hard for us, I don’t think we will play - Alisson or myself," he said.
"The match against Uruguay will be Friday overnight over there (UK) and the match against Watford will be 12.30 (on Saturday). With all that is involved, travel, I don’t know how much time we will have between one game and the other."
"I believe that we won’t be playing. We will also have to quarantine but the club is still studying whether it is better to go straight to Spain to play Atletico and quarantine there, without staying in a hotel in England."
Brazil have already confirmed they're not planning to release players early meaning a number of Premier League stars might not be available this weekend.
Among the players on international duty include, Chelsea’s Thiago Silva, Aston Villa’s Douglas Luiz, Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus and Ederson, Leeds United’s Raphinha, and Manchester United’s Fred and Edinson Cavani.
