Manchester United stand-in coach Ralf Rangnick has confirmed fullback Aaron Wan-Bissaka suffered an injury in their Wednesday night draw against Young Boys.
The Englishman was returning to the starting team after missing last weekend's win over Crystal Palace and was stretched off in the second half after falling hard into the advertising hoardings at pitchside.
"He received two knocks - one again unfortunately on the wrist and the other one on his knee.
Rangnick on Wan Bissaka: “He’s been treated in the locker room, but we have to wait and see the situation around the two knocks. I’m positive he will train the day after tomorrow and hopefully become part of the team against Norwich.” #MUFC— United Zone (@ManUnitedZone_) December 9, 2021
"He's been treated now in the locker room but we have to wait and see what the situation around those two knocks will be like tomorrow. But I am positive that he can the day after tomorrow train again and hopefully become part of the team against Norwich (on Saturday)," the manager said in his post-match interview.
Should the defender fail to make the game, the German is likely to call upon Diogo Dalot to start at right-back following his recent impressive performances against
and Crystal Palace.
