The UEFA Champions League Round of 16 draw will be redone.
The draw was done on Monday afternoon, but due to a technical issue, the draw has been declared null and void.
The error involved Manchester United being in the wrong pot. Villarreal were initially paired with United - which would have been an impossible tie given those sides were in the same group.
A statement from the association read;
Following a technical problem with the software of an external service provider that instructs the officials as to which teams are eligible to play each other, a material error occurred in the draw for the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.
