Despite his lack of playing time in recent years, Manchester United are said to value center defender Phil Jones around £15 million.
On January 3, the 29-year-old made his first appearance for the club in nearly two years, playing the full minutes against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.
Jones is expected to be available for transfer this month, with a number of clubs interested, but the Daily Star reports that Man United wants £15 million for the Englishman.
According to the report, Burnley are interested in the defender but are unwilling to match his club's pricing or pay his £100,000-a-week salary.
Jones impressed on his return against Wolves but was benched against Aston Villa on Saturday, with Eric Bailly, Raphael Varane, Harry Maguire, and Victor Lindelof all ahead of him in the hierarchical order.
Since joining the Red Devils in 2011, the former Blackburn Rovers youth has made 225 appearances, winning one Premier League title and one FA Cup.
