Here’s a classy piece of news. Cape Verde’s goalkeeper Vozinha went to see Sadio Mane in medical care after a nasty head clash on Monday.
As Futaa reported, Senegal sealed a 2-0 win over Islanders to advance to the quarter-finals of AFCON 2021.
During the game, Mane went for a high ball before crashing into Cape Verde goalkeeper Vozinha.
The Liverpool star went out cold.
The 29-year-old was later taken off in the 70th minute before he was transported to the hospital.
Mane later gave an update to say: “Thank god everything is fine. “Thank you all for the messages.”
Additionally, the Senegalese forward was later pictured enjoying a visit from Vozinha.
Meanwhile, Senegal will take on Equatorial Guinea in Sunday’s quarter-final game.
