FC Barcelona captain Sergio Busquets has hit out at the club after learning that the club will be taking pay cuts through the press.
Barca are trying to balance their books and will once again ask their players to take pay cuts and while Basquets isn't against the move, he said he was disappointed not to have heard the same from the officials themselves.
"I've heard a lot of things being said and when I come back from holiday I don't know what they will tell me," the midfielder said in a press conference while on duty with the Spanish national team.

🗣 "I am always willing to help. The club has not proposed anything to us yet. It is not the best decision to do it through the press, it is always better to talk face to face. It's not a problem for me, I'm always ready to help."#FCB 🇪🇸 pic.twitter.com/9nXcqHf1IT
"I would like them to tell me and not find out from somewhere else, but I'm always willing to help. They haven't proposed anything to us, they haven't told us anything beyond what we hear from you (the press). It's not the best decision to do it through the press, it's always better to be direct and face to face."
Barca are currently in the market for new players and has strongly been linked with a move for Robert Lewandowski even though they have to offload some of their highest earners to fund such a move.
