FKF Premier League giants Posta Rangers have appointed former SoNy Sugar and Gor Mahia tactician Zedekiah ‘Zico’ Otieno as club head coach replacing George Maina who has since handed the assistant coach's role.

Zico parted ways with SoNy Sugar three weeks ago after a series of poor results and the FKF PL side have confirmed that they have snapped the former Kenya international in bid to bolster their technical bench.

Appointment

-We have appointed Otieno as our head coach; he is very experienced having coached a number of clubs in the Kenyan Premier League and also the national side. We felt that he has to expertise that we need in the team and that is why we went for him, club chairman John Tonui told Futaa.com.

Tonui is confident that with the addition of Zico in the technical bench the side will be able to perform even better in the league.

Good TB

-We now have a very good technical bench full of experience, Zico will be the head coach and he will be assisted by George Maina, Edward Kauka and Pascal Ochieng' will be the trainers while Lawrence Webo will remain the keepers’ trainer. I feel we now have a very good technical bench under the leadership of the head coach to take this team forward, he added.

Posta is currently second in the FKF PL table with 40 points.
