Manchester United Under-23s forward Zak Dearnley has completed a loan move to Oldham Athletic for the remainder of the season.
Zak signed a new deal with the club last July after making 19 appearances for Ricky Sbragia’s side last season, scoring once – in a 4-0 victory over Sunderland at Old Trafford.
The 20-year-old has risen through the ranks at the club after a series of fine performances and has represented Ricky Sbragia’s side on a number of occasions in Premier League 2 this term.
“A lively forward who is capable of exploiting space down the flanks, Sheffield-born Dearnley received a call-up to the senior squad in May 2017 as an unused substitute for the Reds’ 2-0 win over Crystal Palace on the final day of the Premier League season.” Man United said after releasing the youngster.
Meanwhile, Brighton & Hove Albion have midfielder Tudor Baluta on a signing a three-year deal. The 19-year-old will remain with FC Viitorul Constanta in Romania’s top flight for the rest of the current campaign though.
“I’m very happy to be here – it’s a great day for me and to decide to be part of this club is the best decision that I’ve made. I’m really happy and can’t wait to get started in the summer, I chose the club because of the facilities and everything here. The training ground, the staff, the first team, the stadium – everything is incredible, and I think I’ve made the right decision.” Baluta said after signing the deal.
Baluta has made 15 top-flight appearances so far this term, finding the back of the net twice, as well as making his senior debut for his country towards the end of 2018 – a moment he reflected on fondly.
