Ahead of their crunch time fixture against Manchester City on Sunday 10th February, Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has provided an injury update on Callum Hudson-Odoi and Gary Cahill.
The two will face late tests to determine whether they will be 100% ready when the Blues travel to Manchester to face City. Cahill is least likely to affect Sarri’s plans for the game after featuring sparingly this season with the Italian preferring the center back partnership of David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger. Cahil has been reported to suffer a slight back problem but could still feature in the City game.
Speaking in a press conference ahead of the Manchester City game, Sarri provided an injury update on the duo, “We had only some little problems, with Odoi. He had fever, but only for one day. Yesterday we had a little problem with Cahill, with his back. I think every player will be available for this match. I hope so. I don't know. We have to do another two trainings.”
