Fenerbahce and Zenit kick off the round of 32 phase of the Europa League tonight, with both sides struggling for goals and form.
Wich bets have we placed on betPawa?
The Europa League returns this week as Fenerbahçe take on Zenit St. Petersburg in the Sükrü Saracoglu Stadium. It’ll be important for the home side to build a lead to take back to Russia, and they should be confident of achieving that. They haven’t lost at home in the Europa League proper in their previous 11 fixtures (W8, D3). Also, Zenit has lost nine of their last ten away from home in the competition. It remains to be seen what shape Zenit will in as they haven't played a competitive game in two months. They lost three matches heading into the Russian winter break so we aren't expecting fireworks from them.
Tolga Cigerci and Sadik Ciftpinar are injured for Fenerbahce but other than that they have a fully-fit squad. Roberto Soldado, Victor Moses & Andre Ayew are expected to spearhead the Fener attack. Leandro Paredes left Zenit for PSG in the last few weeks and they will struggle to replace his influence and passing range in midfield. Cristian Noboa and Daler Kuzyaev are both injured for the visitors for this round of 32 first leg clash, while Aleksandr Erokin and Oleg Shatov are major doubts.
