Express FC’s captain Isaac Mutanga has blamed injuries and luck for their 2-0 loss to Vipers last Friday at Kitende.
The captain reveals that about four of their first team players were injured and that the team had to improvise.
“It wasn’t a bad game the boys played well but may be luck wasn’t on our side. That’s what I can say, the boys played well and I believe all of us saw what they gave us was enough,” Mutanga said.
He further decried, “The injuries have affected us a lot. We have like four first team players injured that’s why you saw many players being played out of position. The injuries have affected us too much.”
The loss left the Red eagles on 11th with 28 points.
