Baroka FC chairman Khurishi Mphahlele officially confirmed the news of the signing of former Orlando Pirates midfielder Thandani Ntshumayelo.

Ntshumayelo who had recently trialed with Bidvest Wits will be with Baroka until the end of the 2018/19 season with an option to renew for two years.

The former SuperSport United star started training with the Telkom Knockout champions only last week, but he has appeared to have done enough to impress head coach Wedson Nyirenda.

"It's good news," Mphahlele told KickOff.

"Ja he's been signed, he has signed until the end of the season with a two-year option."

Baroka are currently sitting  15th on the South African Premier League table with relegation looming over them.
