City have already bagged the Carabao Cup after defeating Chelsea in the final last month and are in the semi-finals of the FA Cup having staged an impressive come back against Swansea City. Pep Guardiola's side are second in the English Premier League table, two points off table-toppers Liverpool but with a game in hand. City are also in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League and have been drawn against Tottenham Hotspur.

Speaking in a press conference ahead of their Friendly against Trinidad and Tobago, Giggs revealed that City will need to continue to have luck on their side if they are to achieve the quadruple, "I’ve got enough to worry about – please don’t bring that up. They are a fantastic team and they have obviously already got one. With United going out of the FA Cup makes it a little bit easier for them.

“They have a long way to go, and just like us in the treble, you need need a bit of luck and a lot of things to go for you, which they had at the weekend. They’re a brilliant team and it will be interesting to see what they can achieve."
