Zambian striker Evans Kangwa was on target on Thursday as Arsenal Tula claimed an emphatic three nil win over Russian giants Spartak Moscow at home.
The former Nkana forward opened the scores just six minutes into the match after getting on the end of a Kirill Kombarov well timed pass to chip the Spartak Moscow goalkeeper from close range.
Sergey Tkachev doubled the lead in the 24th minute finishing off a Reziuan Mirzov pass to put Tula in control of the match. Mirzov made it three nil 13 minutes later converting from the spot to put more daylight between them and the team from the capital.
Kangwa was withdrawn at half time for 32 year old Russian midfielder Anri Khagush. The home side held on to win the match three nil, Kangwa's goal was his fourth in the league this season.
