Ghana and Hibernian midfielder Thomas Agyepong returned to action at the weekend after a long injury lay-off.

Agyepong made a brief appearance for his side against Hearts in the Scottish Premier League.

The 22-year has been hit by a serious of injuries and has been sidelined for several weeks on end.

Over the weekend, the Manchester City player on loan to Hibernian came off the bench in the 89th minute as they played to a draw against Hearts.

He suffered the injury back in November 2018 in a league match against Dundee United.

Agyepong's injury return will delight Black Stars head coach Kwesi Appiah as the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations draws nearer.
