• Absa Premiership Futaa fixtures
  • Saturday 4 May 2019
  • Cape Town City host Orlando Pirates.

It is as late as the penultimate weekend in SA’s Absa Premiership.  For the top three, Saturday will be as serious as laying one hand on the title. At the bottom, it will be jublilation or a dark time to start preparing for life in the lower National First Division.

Pirates and Bidvest will respectively fight for league honours in Cape Town and in Johannesburg. Meanwhile, fellow title-chasers Mamelodi Sundowns will be engaged in a CAF Champions League semi-finals game against Wydad Casablanca in Pretoria.

The Buccaneers will be in the Cape Flats’ Athlone Stadium to tackle Cape Town City where they could win or lose the league championship.

While the likes of Maritzburg United, Black Leopards and Chippa United will battle to resist the chop.

The most troubled side Maritzburg host SuperSport United in the KwaZulu Natal midlands’ Harry Gwala Stadium.
