Ghana international right-back Andy Yiadom came a close second for the Reading Player of the Season award.
The 23-year-old lost to Andy Rinhomota by just 4.8 percent of the votes as English-born Zimbabwean attacker won with 27.3 percent with Yakou Meite having 17.6 percent to finish third.
Yiadom who joined the Royals from Barnsley on a free transfer last summer has been instrumental throughout the season playing 45 Championship games scoring one goal and providing four assists as they escaped relegation.
