Ahead of their all-important final English Premier League clash against Brighton and Hove Albion, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has provided an injury update on Kevin De Bruyne and Fernandinho.

De Bruyne has not featured for City since he limped off with a hamstring injury in the 1-0 over Tottenham Hotspur three weeks ago. The midfielder has been hit by a succession of injury troubles which have kept him out for much of the season but the Belgian has resumed training this week.

Speaking in a press conference ahead of their Brighton clash, Pep Guardiola provided an injury update on the duo, "He (De Bryune) has done part of training session last two days." And when asked about the chances of him making the squad on Sunday, he said he "could" be involved.

Fernandinho has also been missing since he injured his knee in the 2-0 win at Manchester United, but he has already been ruled out of the game on Sunday and only has an outside chance of being fit for the FA Cup final against Watford at Wembley on May 18.
