English Championship club Derby County are reportedly in contention to sign Nigerian forward David Okereke.
The 21-year-old is currently playing for La Spezia in the Italian Serie B league.
According to Italian media publication II Secolo XIX, Derby are among the growing list of clubs interested in the youngster's services.
West Ham United have been credited with an interest in the young striker in recent weeks, too.
Spezia sporting director Guido Angelozzi has been quoted as saying: “Several teams are looking at him. West Ham, but not only. There are so many. But no numbers. It's not the time to make assessments."
This season, Okereke has scored 10 goals and provided 12 assists in 33 appearances for his club, who finished sixth in Italy's second tier.
Last season, the Nigeria U23 international had a loan spell with Cosenza, where he scored five times in 26 outings.
