Britt Assombalonga has been called up to represent DR Congo ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
The Middlesbrough striker is said to be one of 32 players who made the provisional list which will be shortened to 23 for the final tournament.
The Leopards are set to depart for Spain ahead of a training camp to prepare for the competition and will be there to take on Burkina Faso on June 9 and Kenya (June 15) in preliminary friendlies.
Assambalonga will be looking to impress his way into the squad during the friendlies in order to book a spot to Egypt come June 21.
The hosts are one of three teams DR Congo will be up against in the group stages, as well as Uganda and Zimbabwe.
One of Britt's Boro teammates last season will also hope to make his mark on the tournament - John Obi Mikel has also been named in a provisional squad for Nigeria.
