Manchester United will play Norwegian side Kristiansund in a pre-season friendly on July 30 at the Ullevaal Stadium, Oslo.
On July 31, newly-promoted United women's team will take on another Norwegian side Valerenga at the Intility Arena.
"I am delighted we are playing a match against Kristiansund BK, they are from my hometown in Norway, which is an added bonus for me," Solskjaer told MUTV.
"We have a massive following in Scandinavia and it's great that I meet United supporters wherever I go in Norway."
United, who finished six in the Premier League, are expected to be hyperactive in the transfer market this summer as Solskjaer rebuilds the team.
