Zambia national team assistant coach Beston Chambeshi says he has a lot of confidence in the young defenders to rise to the occasion when the Chipolopolo boys take on Morocco in an international friendly on Sunday in Marrakech.
This comes after the revelation that Former Sensational Zanaco captain Ziyo Tembo and Chippa United midfielder Donashano Malama are in the treatment room with an ankle injury and back pain respectively.
“We have (enough) confidence in the young boys that are here, Moses Nyondo, Shemmy, and Kebson, I think they are jellying well in the team and they are doing fine. We hope and trust they can stand the pressure against Morocco, We have the confidence in them,” Chambeshi said.
Zambia will face Morocco on Sunday in Marrakech before concluding their tour of duty with a match against 2015 AFCON Champions, Ivory Coast in Abu Dabhi.
