Arsenal have been linked with a shock move for Mario Gotze but the Borussia Dortmund midfielder has revealed that he is paying little attention to the rumors.
Gotze has just one year left on his Borussia Dortmund contract, having inked a four-year deal in 2016 following three seasons with Bayern Munich. Arsenal have seen Aaron Ramsey depart to Juventus and are keen on landing his replacement as they have been linked with a number of players including Gotze.
In an interview with DAZN, Gotze revealed that he is not focusing on a potential move anywhere else right now, "I always hear these rumors, they come up every year. Everyone has their value and the club has to decide who fits where. I have a year on my contract and I am comfortable in the Bundesliga.
"I am very relaxed, I wanted to play a reasonable season, contributing with my performances and focusing on myself was important for me."
The arrivals of Julian Brandt and Thorgan Hazard mean that Gotze won't necessarily be the first choice for Lucien Favre next season.
