Southampton have kicked off their summer transfer business with the signing of Mali winger Moussa Djenepo from Standard Liege.
The 20-year-old has put pen to paper on a four-year contract at St Mary's and becomes the first signing made by manager Ralph Hasenhuttl.

"It is something I am very proud of. It’s a dream come true. Southampton is a great club and I am very happy," Djenepo said.
“It’s a good club that is progressing, it has great facilities, and it’s a place that can help me to really kick on and progress,"
“I am looking forward to it and I want to get to know my new family. I can’t wait to be around my new team-mates and work hard alongside them,"  he added.

Djenepo had a decent season with Standard Liege, where he scored 11 goals in 39 appearances in all competitions.

He will be in action for his country at the Africa Cup of Nations, which is set to start on June 21st, with the Saints fans having to watch him in action for the first time.
