Stars Abroad

England U21 international of Nigerian descent, Ademola Lookman has been linked with an exit from Everton before the close of the summer transfer window.

In recent weeks, Crystal Palace, Southampton, and RB Leipzig have been credited with an interest in the former Charlton Athletic star.

It seems there is another foreign suitor interested in snapping up Lookman, as Turkish outlet Takvim claims that Besiktas are set to hold talks with Everton over the possible signing of the exciting winger.

With only three starts in the Premier League last term, joining a new team would provide Lookman the opportunity of regular first-team football.

Besiktas are unlikely to meet the Everton winger's asking price and will be hoping to agree to a loan deal for the player.

Lookman, who has been left out England's squad to the U21 EURO, has a valid contract with Everton until June 30, 2021.
