English Premier League giants Manchester United have signed Spanish teenage wonderkid Mateo Mejia from Real Zaragoza for £600,000, according to The Sun.
The 16-year-old is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's second signing of the summer after bringing in young Swansea winger Daniel James.
Mejia's signing is a statement of intent for Solskjaer in recruiting promising youngsters to progress through the club's ranks.
The Norwegian also seems set to seal a big-money move for Crystal Palace full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The defender could move to Manchester in a deal worth around £55million as the Old Trafford side look to bolster their ranks for the new season.
James' long-anticipated signing is the start of that, with him and eventually, Wan Bissaka set to go straight into the first-team reckoning.
Mejia, on the other hand, will have to impress in the club's youth ranks before earning his first-team opportunity.
The club is looking for a serious revamp to the team after floundering in last season where they finished sixth in the league log.
