Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has revealed youngster Ethan Ampadu is likely to be loaned out this season.
The Wales international did not link up with teammates for the pre-season tour of Japan in anticipation of a move. Lampard admitted he was keen to sign the 18-year-old when he was managing Derby last season with the defender now attracting interests from Aston Villa.
He signed a new five-year contract with the Stamford Bridge club in September 2018.
